Pings and Fungus Gnat Question

Greetings!

I don’t own any pings and I was wondering if these plants can naturally attract and catch fungus gnats? I have some sundews and I find that you have to place them close to the problematic pot for them catch the little buggers.

From anyone’s experience, do you find that pings are able to attract and catch them if they’re a couple of feet away from the other pot?

Thanks!

I own a couple of Pinguicula agnatas but they don't often catch anything even if I place the plants near sightings of fungus gnats or fruit flies. The few times they do feel satisfying though.

Some greenhouse hobbyists who grow plants other than CPs keep a few pings to keep fungus gnats down.
I found my big sloppy moranensis caught the most.
