A beautiful pitcher (and one that is developing) from N. x[thorelii x (veitchii x boschiana)], seed grown by myself.

Sadly my Leucos didn’t get to put on a show this year, late spring/early winter. Hoping next year the growing season is longer!

They’re tucked in for winter now. I put them to sleep when temps get below -4 at night on the regular. Usually in my area we don’t get any snow this time of year. But third week of october we got 9” so that was a bit of a surprise.

Snow on the plants doesn't mean the rhizomes are frozen. The wet soil acts as a big heat store. It takes a heavy or prolonged freeze to freeze the rhizomes all the way through. Also you can have snow on the leaves if the temperature is above freezing.
Rhizomes may be ok if frozen a "bit" but I wouldn't count on it.

take a look at this N. densiflora from wistuba, a very slow growing species, the second pitcher it has ever produced for me after two years of growing it...
