My paddle found these guys...

    Paddling along the shoreline, I ended up In a shallow, where when I lifted my paddle a clump of these guys were lifted the the it.
    Not sure which Species of Utricularia exactly, but was kind of neat to see them up close. IMG_20160801_130119.jpg

    Nice! Could be Utricularia macrorhiza.
    You should try to grow it! :)

    I wasn't sure which Species, but was pretty thrilled to find accidently like that. Thanks for identifying. Looks like it could be easy to grow.

    Found some in a lake when I was about 9 years old, tried keeping it in a insect tank on a windowsill.. ended up rotting and smelling terrible lol, how would you keep a Utricularia aliveness?

    I think they need a big volume of water, probably with some circulation.

    I have had some various utrics growing in my fish tank before, and it spread like crazy!
