Carnivore
Hey guys, I was recently tasked with bringing some fire moss into tissue culture at my lab. Samples were taken in and around a mining site and the moss's capsules were collected and surface sterilized. The idea is that if we can produce enough moss, in a cost effective manner, it could be sprayed from a plane to help reclaim land.
I'm pretty sure you can do this with any moss, I literally just tried once and I got no contamination and they germinated well.
I have also been growing these guys in liquid,
as well as a liquid layer on top of a semi solid gel!
Let me know if you guys have any questions!
