That's good to know. I will separate half and plant in LFS and perlite in a terracotta pot.

I think I crowded the seeds a bit to much and will have to separate when they get bigger.

I spread the seeds after sowing but I find if they're too close together it's still okay. The strongest seedling will outgrow the others.

I ordered seeds (sarracenia mix and darlingtonia californica) from Willy and they have been in the fridge for a week.
First question - should I sterilize the medium? Microwave/pressure cooker?
