Drosera filiformis

Flytrap

Plant
This D filiformis is the offspring of one of the first drosera species I had bought... the original plant came from WIP (World Insectivorous Plants) back in 1983. They're finicky plants, and in the beginning, many of my filiformis seedlings never made it to maturity, as they would rot off during the winter. This specimen was planted as a seed in 2015, and am pleased to see it in inflorescence this summer.

The other photo shows the D filiformis hanging out with her buddies ... D binata, D capensis, D intermedia... and the rest of the weeds!
