D. magnifica (BCP)

Hi folks, I took advantage of the early morning overcast here in Toronto to shoot some pics of the outdoor collection. The plant receives direct light for 6 hours/day but the pot is white and shaded by other taller pots to keep the medium cool. I've noticed that leaf tips die and turn brown when air temps exceed ~27 C. It is not sitting in water but I mist the surface when the sphagnum moss starts to dry out.

Good growing.

Thanks. Those are unfurling leaves in the growing point (apex) but just below appears to be two lateral shoots :) I have to keep an eye on them as they develop.

You did...and exposed to our 30 C heat today ;)During winter, they are indoors under T8s in the basement. Last August however they did go dormant in the heat.
