I went to Loblaws to pick up some regular stuff, including toilet paper. People were going crazy, grabbing and piling it in their buggies. I got the last 2 packages. You'd think toilet paper was a cure or something. What a bunch of dodos.

My CP's ordered a whole case of distilled water on-line in case of hoarding.

I always stock when things are on sale. London drugs has a poo poo paper promo a while ago. Spend 40 buck on TP and get a $10 gift card. The TP was already on sale + $10 card to buy MORE TP made it heck of a deal....so I'm safe for awhile lol.

I kinda guessed what was going to happen and stocked up on toilet paper and by that I mean I got 1 pkg... Still more than a lot of people at the grocery store. I feel this is all messed up, like toilet paper? really... but I did get it on sale.

Yes, it's ridiculous to be scared... and the media talks about the dead, not the survivors.
Check this link and you will see:

• Total Deaths: 4,720
• Total Recovered: 68,324

So way more chance to survive than dying.
Oh and to put corona into perspective do you know that every years:

• 1,350,000 people die in traffic accidents worldwide
• 8,000,000 people die from smoking worldwide

But I still see people smoking in their car

Virus or not, our home always have extra food and supplies for at least one month. Anything more than that, is excessive in my opinion.

Exactly, I didnt stock up because we keep a back up. We live in the county, so if we run short of a can of something for dinner we cant just zip out. Heck we could live out of our freezers for a few months alone lol.

I wandered around last night and toilet paper was out everywhere. Evidently Sobeys went nuts before I got there.
Also I heard people are hoarding bottled water. Imagine you're stuck at home for 2 weeks. Where would you get water from? And don't be tempted to use the distilled stuff, that's for your green buddies.

I don’t have school for 2 weeks bc of the virus so I’ll miss our amorphophallus konjac’s bloom...Very sad. I was looking forward to see this rare event, maybe an employee will have a photo to share. Guess I’ll binge watch information videos about this beautiful plant instead

I've heard that you can't get the virus from carnivorous plants, so if you're self isolated you can still spend time with your plant buddies.
