Its from a bog laurel (Kalmia microphylla) It fell from a plant above and just happened to be caught by the sundew.

These tentacles under the lid of S.purpurea are green eggs on long thin stalks of a useful insect:
A Lacewing (Chrysoperla carnea) found this pitcher to be a good spot for laying eggs. Aphids goodbye!

But it is a dangerous place to hang around. Lacewing goodbye.
