Ant keeping

Any ant keepers here?
personally, I love keeping ants and currently I have

2 Camponotus pennsylvanicus colonies, 7 and 8 workers each and has around 30 brood

Here's one of the colonies

7 Lasius Americanus colonies, this species can have multiple queens in one colony, and is one of the easiest ants to keep! they also expand in size really quickly.
my colonies actually all have at least 4 queens, over 100 brood and 30 workers/pupae each.

I used to keep ants 2 years ago. Had several camponotus and lasius colonies but totally neglected them over the winter and they died off :( I wouldn't mind starting up again but haven't gone queen hunting in a long time.

ants are quite fun to keep IMO, I caught 32 lasius brevicornis queens a few days ago, and my pogonomyrmex queen finally arrived. I have quite a few surplus colonies and queens that I wouldn't mind selling or swapping for plants. If you are interested we can work something out.

Can you post some pics of your formicariums?

I used mostly test tubes but moved some larger colonies to some 3D printed ones I bought off ebay.

Gonna PM you.
