    Saw some webs with little flies hanging under them. And they run pretty fast on the webs. What the heck. Any one know what these are? EDIT. Looks like a fungus gnat after some googling. but whats with the webs?

    I love newts and salamanders. I came across three of these little ones in my back yard. I'm not sure what kind. Could be Wandering Salamander. But they are really cool and I'm happy they can thrive back there. Vancouver Island, BC.

    Sarracenia purpurea seed starts under a dome. Heat mat?

    I have a bunch of S. purpurea seeds germinating after 4 weeks of stratification. Should I use a heat mat to keep them warm? They are in pot, on a tray, under a dome. With artificial light for about 12hrs.
