I've read these will never produce any new growth due to not having any nodes.
I've heard it just takes a long time or maybe never if no stem on the cutting. Time for the keiki paste!

I read Huernia zebrina doesn’t like the soil to completely dry out but still be well drained. We used the same soil mix for all the succulents. Equal parts perlite, sand, floor dry and used potting soil. She waters sparsely perfect for the cacti so I sneak in extra waterings for a few.
